Norfolk, VA, USA
2023

Through this series, I explore the transformative power of conscious consumption, repurposing organic waste from Norfolk's local businesses into vibrant, sustainable artworks. By harnessing the potential of discarded materials, I seek to spark conversations about community-driven sustainability and the impact of individual actions on the environment. These compositions serve as a testament to the possibilities of creative reuse and the role art can play in reimagining our relationship with resources.

“5 Onions”
”20 Avocado Pits”
”137 Black Beans”

By showcasing these pieces at a collective exhibition “A Look Within” (Aug-Nov2023) at the Visual Arts & Design Center at Norfolk Tidewater Community College, I aimed to emphasize how communities could be even more sustainable in their use of resources.
